Dolci Aveja US specializes in importing authentic Italian pastries and confections handcrafted in L'Aquila, Italy using traditional family recipes and carefully selected ingredients.
Our products are made in small batches by skilled artisans using premium ingredients sourced primarily in Italy. Because of their handcrafted nature, no two products are exactly alike.
Natural variations in appearance, color, shape, texture, weight, decoration, or packaging may occur from batch to batch. These variations are normal characteristics of artisan food products and are not considered manufacturing defects or defects in quality.
Product images displayed on our website are intended to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in photography, lighting, seasonal production, packaging updates, and individual device display settings, the actual product you receive may vary slightly from the images shown.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, ingredient information, nutritional information, pricing, product images, and availability are accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur. Dolci Aveja US reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time, including after an order has been placed.

Our products are imported directly from Italy in limited shipments throughout the year.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Dolci Aveja US may, at its discretion:

Our products are handcrafted using traditional recipes and premium ingredients and are considered perishable food products.
Because our products are made in small batches and contain few or no unnecessary preservatives, customers are responsible for storing products according to the instructions provided on the packaging and consuming them before the stated best-by date.
Dolci Aveja US is not responsible for changes in product quality resulting from improper storage, prolonged exposure to heat or humidity after delivery, failure to retrieve a delivered package promptly, improper handling, or consumption after the product's best-by date.
12. Ingredients & Allergens
Many of our products contain ingredients such as wheat, milk, eggs, butter, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, peanuts, soy, sesame, or other allergens.
Although we strive to provide accurate ingredient information on our website and product packaging, recipes, formulations, suppliers, and manufacturing practices may change without prior notice.
Customers with food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions are solely responsible for reviewing ingredient information before purchasing or consuming any product.

Once an order has been processed, packed, or shipped, it cannot be modified or canceled.

All orders are shipped from our temperature-controlled warehouse in the United States using the shipping method selected by the customer during checkout.
Estimated delivery times displayed on our website or provided during checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by the shipping carrier.
Although Dolci Aveja US makes every reasonable effort to process and ship orders promptly, processing and delivery times may vary due to order volume, holidays, severe weather, transportation disruptions, customs inspections, supply chain delays, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for selecting the shipping option that best meets their delivery needs.

18. Temperature-Sensitive Products
Certain products sold by Dolci Aveja US contain chocolate or other ingredients that may soften or melt when exposed to elevated temperatures during transit.
To help preserve product quality during warmer months:

Chocolate products may be shipped only on certain days of the week to reduce the likelihood of extended transit over weekends.

Customers are strongly encouraged to select Expedited Shipping whenever available.

Customers should retrieve packages promptly after delivery and avoid leaving them outdoors or in direct sunlight.

Dolci Aveja US may delay shipment for a short period if extreme weather conditions are expected and we reasonably believe that delaying shipment will better protect the quality of the products.
Although we carefully package temperature-sensitive products, we cannot guarantee that chocolate or similar ingredients will arrive in perfect cosmetic condition after exposure to elevated temperatures during transit.
Minor cosmetic changes, including softening, blooming, or slight melting, do not affect the safety or quality of the product and are not considered manufacturing defects.
19. Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at the time an order is placed.
If an error is discovered after an order has been submitted, customers should contact Dolci Aveja US immediately. While we will make every reasonable effort to update shipping information before an order is processed, we cannot guarantee that address changes will be possible once order preparation has begun.
Once an order has been delivered by the shipping carrier to the shipping address provided by the customer, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.
Customers are encouraged to retrieve packages promptly after delivery, particularly during periods of extreme heat, cold, rain, or other weather conditions that may affect food quality.
Dolci Aveja US is not responsible for changes in product quality resulting from packages that remain unattended after delivery.
20. Courier Delays & Delivery Issues
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is managed by that carrier.
Dolci Aveja US is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, transportation interruptions, labor disputes, customs inspections, natural disasters, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If carrier tracking indicates that a package has been delivered but the customer cannot locate it, customers should first:

Verify the delivery address used for the order.

Check around the delivery location and with other members of the household.

Contact neighbors, building management, or reception personnel, where applicable.

Contact the shipping carrier directly for additional delivery information.
If the shipment still cannot be located, customers should notify Dolci Aveja US within 30 days of the carrier's reported delivery date.
While Dolci Aveja US may, at its sole discretion, assist customers in investigating delivery issues, carrier-confirmed delivery does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund, replacement, or reshipment.
Any accommodation offered by Dolci Aveja US is voluntary, determined on a case-by-case basis, and shall not create a continuing obligation or precedent for future claims.
21. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Because our products are perishable food items, we do not accept returns once products have been shipped or delivered, except where required by applicable law.
For food safety and quality assurance reasons, returned food products cannot be restocked or resold.
Accordingly, refunds, replacements, store credits, or other accommodations are not available for reasons including, but not limited to:

Personal taste or flavor preferences.

Changes in dietary preferences or restrictions after purchase.

Minor cosmetic variations inherent to handmade artisan products.

Many concerns can be resolved more quickly through direct communication than through the chargeback process.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, Dolci Aveja US reserves the right to provide the payment processor or financial institution with documentation supporting the transaction, including, but not limited to:
